It all starts at the source. All of our shrimp products are produced and sourced from hatcheries and farms that follow ethical and responsible practices, maintaining sustainability as the utmost importance. With ownership and relationships with aquaculture operations around the world, implementing these practices allow us to produce antibiotic free shrimp without harming or polluting the existing environment. All products are sourced from our company owned and partner suppliers who hatch, farm and harvest shrimp under BAP standards.

Processing and Storage

Processing the finest quality product is an integral part of AZ Gems Inc. Our ownership and relationships with processing plants in multiple countries allows us access to a variety of products and brings us as close to the source as possible, making us truly vertically integrated. Products are available at professionally managed warehouses across the country to service our customers.

Certifications

All the products produced are strictly under HACCP regulations and the processing plants are US & EU approved that have the following certifications at the minimum. BRC, ISO-22000, ACC, BSCI / SA8000 for Social Accountability for the plants and BAP for the farms.

The plants are also certified for Global GAP and ASC to service the European markets, certifications which the major retail and food service customers are relying upon to meet the required standards. Our farms have recently started working with ASC to attain their highest standards.

The supply chain is audited thoroughly and we use major certifying bodies to evaluate the Fish Meal and go through feed production, hatchery, farms and processing operations. We make sure that the fish meal used in feed is sourced from vessels that implement responsible social practices with out any labour abuse or child labor.
